According to various sources, there was a large fire outbreak right behind one of the private hostels in the University of Ilorin. The video was shared among several students and groups, showing what seemed to be a huge problem.

After confirming that there was a fire, the inquiries we made showed that no one was hurt, and neither were the students put in any danger. The extent of the fire was a cause for concern as it seemed that it went out of hand.

Students who live close explained that some people were burning something but the fire started looking dangerous, spreading and looking like it could reach other places soon.
